My first book "The Call" began as mere therapy for me as a way to keep a journal of my deepest thoughts due to my limited interaction with others. Shortly thereafter, I realized that this book is not just for me, but for the millions of people in the world battling with obstacles and situations along their own journey.
This Journey has allowed me to reach out to others by letting them know that there is hope that will set you free. You can survive these trials and not only move on in your life, but become more productive than ever. I survived throughout this horrific journey where I started on "Bended Knees," and ended up "Standing." That was no accident. Please, never say never and always believe that anything is possible. Don't ever say that you can't do something, because you definitely can. I beat the odds and so can you! Come along with me and experience part of my journey.

The Author
Rolanda Morrison was born in Windsor, Ontario, the author has dedicated much of her life to servicing and helping others in need. She studied at the University of Windsor and later attended the St. Clair School of Nursing, where she graduated in September 1998 with a specialization in mental health and substance abuse. Drawing from her professional experience and deep compassion for others, she writes to inspire healing and understanding. In 2025, she chose to republish her books "The Call" and "It's For You", with the hope of raising greater awareness around the realities of mental health and those who suffer from addiction. Her work continues to blend personal insight with powerful narrative, aiming to reach those who need it most.
